QUALITY ASSURANCE


Location: Austin, Texas

 

Challenge Games was founded in 2006 with the mission of creating online games that are challenging, fun and easy to play by both the serious and casual gamer. Targeting several social media platforms, we create cool games that can be played in 3-10 minute time increments anytime, from anywhere.
Challenge Games is looking for an experienced quality assurance professional for a short term contract, preferably an analytical gamer who is good at finding bugs and is even better at describing those bugs in an organized and clear fashion. Having a passion for sports and sports video games is highly desired for this position.

Specific contract requirements include the development and execution of a quality assurance testing plan, hours upon hours of game testing, database entry, working closely with a team, reviewing daily builds, and identifying/reporting game play issues.

Time Frame: Approximately 40 hours a week, from contract start through November 2009.

Work location: At our Austin, Texas headquarters

Requirements:

 

    - Significant experience in a quality assurance testing role - Record of developing and executing quality assurance product plans - Loves playing video games (especially ours!) - Internet / social media fluency, including experience playing social media games - Ability to thrive in a fast-paced start up environment - Prior MMO experience is a plus - Self starter with high level of initiative - A strong sense of ownership and urgency - Self-motivated and capable of managing work with little direct supervision.
